Recklessness, Incompetence & Damning Facts Revealed in GA Election Lawsuit
Saturday, March 11
10:00 AM Pacific (1:00 PM Eastern)
Marilyn Marks, Executive Director of Coalition for Good Governance, will join us to share crucial and disturbing revelations in their case to stop the use of “universal use” ballot marking devices (BMDs) in Georgia. In this private briefing, she will explain how the case uncovered the fact that Trump allies surreptitiously copied Georgia’s Dominion voting system software currently used in Georgia’s elections.
Curling v. Raffensperger is the same case that already outlawed use of the paperless touchscreen DRE voting systems Georgia used since 2002. It is the only judicial ruling in the nation where a voting system has been found to be unconstitutional. Plaintiffs seek a similar ruling for the BMD touchscreens.
Last month, the plaintiffs filed thousands of pages of evidence in response to the defendants’ motions for summary judgment.
Marilyn will join us to discuss some of the key evidence now in the public record, which she says is likely to be used as a multi-disciplinary research resource by the press, election transparency groups, election administration professionals, and political leaders for years to come, with a major announcement expected from a leading university within days.

Guest Bio:
Marilyn Marks is a retired CEO of a truck-trailer manufacturing business, applying her business and leadership skills to election policy reform. In 2009, after a narrow loss to become the Mayor of Aspen, she recognized the vulnerabilities in Colorado’s election systems. She then devoted full time to election integrity litigation and lobbying efforts for more transparent and verifiable elections. She successfully litigated the effort to make Colorado ballots open public records for post-election reviews, followed by dozens of election-related cases involving election security, transparency, and voter privacy.
After moving back east to North Carolina, her focus became primarily CGG’s work in southern states, including Georgia, where CGG has intensely focused on Georgia’s insecure and unauditable electronic voting system and the anti-democratic and anti-transparency provisions of SB202 passed in 2021. Organizing and directing the activities in those major lawsuits require the vast majority of her time and CGG’s resources. Marilyn and CGG look forward to successful results on the two high impact lawsuits and returning to a broader focus beyond Georgia election issues soon.
